The richest football clubs in the world topped by Read Madrid once again...
According to the report by Deloitte called “The Untouchables: Football Money League”, Real Madrid with a budget of €438.6 million euros in revenue became the world’s biggest football club once again for the sixth time.
Deloitte Football Money League released its 14th report called “The Untouchables”. According to report, the world’s most famous and richest football 20 clubs for 2009-2010 season revenues, exceeded the level of €4 billion euros for the first time. The top 20 clubs’ revenues grew by 8 percent compared to the previous period reached the level of €4.3 billion euros.
The report includes the first two Spanish clubs at the top of the league. Real Madrid’s income of €438.6 million euros was more than enough to put it in the first place for the 6th time as the world’s biggest football club. FC Barcelona was second with €398.1 million euros.
According to the report, Manchester City club achieved the best level of rise ever from 20th to 11th place.
At most clubs in the list UK has 7 football clubs, while Germany and Italy followed by 4, Spain 3 and France followed by 2 clubs.
In the report, the main principle of consuming more than they earned in football clubs in UEFA’s Fair Play of Financial Regulation is not expected to affect the revenues of the clubs. This regulation would said to increase awareness and consciousness about sustainable growth of the clubs.
In the coming years not much of a great change is expected in terms of top-ranked clubs. This year the top 20 football clubs in the 2009-2010 season, and revenues are as follows:
