Cristiano Ronaldo will not play against Racing Santender
Cristiano Ronaldo will not be playing against Racing Santender for tonight’s match which, Marcelino believes that would be advantage for his team.
Real Madrid‘s Cristiano Ronaldo is suffering from a hamstring injury and Racing Santender will not face Ronaldo who is described as los Merengues.
Racing Santender has 30 points and currently stands in the 12th spot.
Marcelino has taken over Racing Santender in February and he has not lost a game out of 4 played since he took over is clearly confident against Mourinho‘s Real Madrid.
Marcelino appeared for a pre-match conference and stated that:
“No one player is bigger than Real Madrid but the statistics show that Ronaldo is a decisive player. Of course, it’s to our advantage that he isn’t playing,”
He has also stated:
“We look forward to a good game and we have the ability to get a result. I think the team has a chance with the support of our fans.”
