Tottenham will be playing Newcastle at their home pitch at White Hart Lane today (11th Feb) at 17:30, which will be one of the biggest Premier League games this weekend. How will this game turn out? Well, here’s a little preview to get you thinking.
At the top of the League table, is Manchester City who are at 57 points, followed by Manchester United at 55 points and then the host of the game today Tottenham at 50 points. This season, Spurs have gained 15 wins, 5 draws and four games which they lost, they are pretty far off for this season league title but they have a good chance in having their name down for the Champions League. Last week they dropped out on a couple of points when they played against Liverpool but let’s see how they will perform this week.
Newcastle on the other hand is looking pretty good as they won the last four league games out of the five they played, especially having Demba Ba in the line-up with his striking partner P. Demba Cisse. Both Demba’s scored against Aston Villa last week, this makes Demba Ba having 16 goals in the past 16 league games this season. If the strikers on both sides are put forward, then we have a nice game awaiting us.
