Goal 1 (46th minute): Straight into the second half, Man U get a corner kick, and who better to deliver it into the box than Gigs, and who better to hit it right in than Rooney. A volley right into the back post gives Man U the lead.
Goal 2 (48th minute): Second goal also comes from Rooney with a touch of his left foot. What a goal, too quick.
Goal 3 (80th minute): Suarez, after a long time away from the pitch, and a close “red card” encounter last week. Adam crosses in the ball, which ends up with a rebound from Ferdinand before Suarez flicks it in.
