iPhone 5 Rumours: The stuff you need to know
We were all expecting an iPhone 5 at the end of last year, but Apple introduced the iPhone 4S, which did seem a bit like an epic fail to most people around the world. But the iPhone 5 is on it’s way, baking nicely in the oven.
The iPhone 5 release date is obviously still unknown, Apple being Apple will announce ‘one of the years most waited date’ just a few weeks before the release of the infamous smartphone. However, what is expected from the iPhone 5? Well, to be quiet frank, a lot is expected, especially after the surprise release of the iPhone 4S as mentioned earlier.
iPhone 5: The Release Date
Yes, we are hoping the awaited smartphone to be released sometime in the summer this year, although rumours claim it may be released sometime in October instead. But looking at the stats, if the iPhone 5 follows its name (if Apple doesn’t release the iPhone 4GS o something) it should be out by sometime between June and July this year.
iPhone 5: The Form Factor
We are hoping for a few changes obviously, like a bigger screen and maybe less sharp edges? Although the physical changes aren’t a biggie, we can be assured that the iPhone won’t go back to it’s previous shape, iPhone 3G.
iPhone 5: Specs and 4G/LTE support
The iPhone 5 will have the specs that should be able to beat the Samsung Galaxy S II with a more processors as well as increased amount of RAM. Rumours say that the iPhone 5 will support 4G support, both in the US as well as the UK.
