Punxsutawney Phil of Pennsylvania estimates the weather

Punxsutawney Phil of Pennsylvania has notified all about the upcoming six weeks in the US, and it’s not really bad news – he says that we should only prepare for another 6 weeks of winter and then spring will be among us.

This prediction aroused from the time when Phil ‘saw’ his own shadow in the Gobbler’s Knob, which is actually a tiny hill that resides within the town for which Phil himself has names approximately 100KM north-east of Pittsburgh.

Governor of Pennsylvania Tom Corbett, who was one of the spectators in the Groundhog Day this year said “What started as a small gathering in 1887 has now evolved into tens of thousands of visitors from around the nation and even the world coming to Punxsutawney to participate in this time-honored Groundhog Day tradition”

Vice president of the Inner Circle, Mike Johnston said “He’s never been wrong” about Phil, adding that Phil is also “incapable of error”, Johnston finished by saying that “if Phil predicts six more weeks of winter, I guarantee you someone’s going to have six more weeks of winter.”.
