Arsenal boss continues to be optimistic.

Many critics will know Arsenal’s current position and probably have started writing off the chances of Arsenal finishing up in the top-four after last night’s performance, yet another game without any goals, this time at Bolton. However, the Arsenal boss doesn’t think the same as you and I, and thinks that his team is actually improving.

At the after match conference, some of the attendees at the press conference were reminded that earning one point in total after four games has pushed Arsenal right the way down to 7^th place in the Premier League fixtures. The Frenchmen reacted heavily and did say that he believes this was the worst of Arsenal we will see this coming season.

Arsenal.com has been told by Wenger that “It’s part of football when you lose three games like we did, when you do not lose the fourth game it is already not too bad,” adding “I believe we had to produce it game by game. For us, every game in the championship (Premier League) is a cup final now. We go into a period now where we play in the FA Cup, the Champions League and it will be difficult to balance all three. It’s important that we do not have more injuries.”

The kick-off this Saturday doesn’t only mean a ‘comeback’ game for the Gunners but also a chance to avenge their notorious 4-3 rout at Ewood Park earlier this season.
