According to Kantar Worldpanel research Apple has sold more smartphones than any other Android smartphone makers combined together which still shows that iPhone is still the most popular smartphone in the world.
Apple was criticised for holding off news regarding the new iPhone 5 , which effected the sales of iPhone 4′s and the sales have been down within the previous months.
iPhone 5 rumors seemed to keep Apple Faithful users to either sell their iPhone 4′s or just wait for the new iPhone 5, but the new iPhone 4s was bit of a shock for the media and all awaiting.
Despite been a shock for Apple Faithful, iPhone 4s managed to sweep up an excellent portion of 42.8 per cent of all British smartphone market in October.
Android smartphone’s managed a second place in the market with 35 per cent of market share as iPhone sales had nearly quadrupled in October because of the new iPhone 4s.
We are currently noticing new smartphone’s appearing in the media very frequently but it seems really hard to beat the main players in the industry.
